How to get CPU temperatures on Ubuntu or LinuxMint

this topic is a record of how to get CPU temperatures on Ubuntu or LinuxMint.

 

sudo apt install lm-sensors
sudo sensors-detect

then you may need to enter some 'yes' in shell.

start sensors:

sensors

the above CPU temperature data is from the CPU sensor of  Asrock(华擎) N3150TM-ITX when a  mp3 player working, and the temperature around  the motherboard is 21:

lm-sensors works fine on Ubuntu and LinuxMint, it has be tesed with Asrock N3150TM-ITX without extra drivers.

 

this topic is be submitted from LinumMint on a USB device without PinYin, so you can see my poor english ...

SSD/HDD temperature detecting:

sudo apt install hddtemp

then detecting it:

sudo hddtemp /dev/sda

hardinfo works fine with Ubuntu , but not so perfect with LinuxMInt, cause it need Gnome:

sudo apt install hardinfo
sudo hardinfo
